About Anna Kiriakidis

Master of Social Work student and Registered Social Service Worker with experience in psychosocial and policy research, crisis counselling, youth support, program development, facilitation, and public speaking. Skilled in diagnostic assessment facilitation, clerical and administrative support, including finance, grant writing, and research ethics documentation. Currently working in neuropsychiatric research with UHT’s ASR Suicide & Depression Studies Program, and WCH’s Women’s Mental Health Research Program. I am also completing my graduate practicum at Blue Sky Learning, a neuroaffirming clinic, where I practice as a supervised social worker. Lived experience with neuromuscular scoliosis, ADHD, and DCD, advocating for individuals with invisible disabilities. Focused on dismantling oppressive practices in healthcare and promoting person-centered approaches. Research interests include neurodevelopmental disabilities, accessibility, the biopsychosocial model of wellness, social welfare policy, sustainable diets, and girl’s/women’s health.
