About Anna Kokki

Project coordination & Co-design / Urban Studies & Planning / Design Learning / Creative Concept Development I am a designer specializing in urban design, co-design and design learning. Over the past five years, I have been involved in over fifty projects, with scales and durations ranging from a day up to a year. My core skills are in project management, organization, creativity, and applying design methods in different contexts. I collaborate with cities, businesses, schools, and cultural institutions and work in interdisciplinary teams. I have worked in the public, private, and third sectors, which has enriched my thinking and taught me how to operate in different environments. My strengths include versatility and organisation skills and the ability to adjust and start working efficiently in new environments. My knowledge and experience of applying design methods and approaches support in collaboration, sense-making and adaptability. I am currently studying urban design and planning in the international Urban Studies and Planning (USP) master’s program at the University of Helsinki and Aalto University. I also hold a Master of Arts degree from Aalto University's Creative Sustainability Master’s programme, where I focused particularly on design research, co-design, and the application of design in the public sector, and have worked and gained experience in these topics past six years. I am now applying this expertise to the urban context.
