About Anna Koponen

Best described as an entrepreneurial self-starter, with strong business understanding linked with a creative mindset. I am a generalist specialist whose worked with diverse companies within the startup ecosystem. Previously I ran the Techstars Stockholm + London accelerator programs, headed marketing and communications at a Finnish venture capital investor and supported portfolio value creation operations at a Swedish venture developer. My strengths lie in building business' with a focus on branding, overall business strategy and operational execution. I've spent the majority of my life living abroad in the US, England, Australia, Sweden & Kuwait, with the occasional stint in Finland (my native homeland). With the constant moving around and adapting to new places and people,I pick up new things quickly and am known as that very efficient person. Outside of work I'm an active soul and certified yoga teacher prioritising wellness be it by playing tennis, top rope climbing or surfing when I can. Travel is close to my heart and I love exploring new places. I’m a strong believer in mindfulness and self-development which have become great counterweights for work, and keep me continually curious to learn more about myself and others.
