About Anna Korol

I’m a biomedical educator and curriculum lead passionate about transforming how we train future leaders in healthcare innovation. At McMaster University, I serve as Associate Director of the iBioMed program and Curriculum Coordinator for the Heersink Master of Biomedical Innovation (MBI), where I teach and design programs that blend clinical insight with real-world problem-solving, always keeping student growth and experience front and centre. I lead Innovators in Scrubs, a flagship course that immerses students in hospitals across the city to work on real clinical challenges and health tech innovation. My work spans medical devices, biotechnology, and therapeutics, always focused on equipping students with the tools, mindset, and experience to make a tangible impact in healthcare. I’m always eager to connect with students passionate about biomedical innovation, as well as clinicians and researchers dedicated to solving real-world healthcare challenges.
