About Anna Lambert

I am a Data Analyst and Environmental Engineer with a strong foundation in data management, analysis, and visualisation - supported by hands-on experience in wastewater treatment, environmental compliance, and technical reporting. My professional journey began in environmental engineering, where I spent over 7 years working on wastewater and sewerage systems, environmental management systems (EMS), sampling and monitoring, and regulatory reporting aligned with EU directives. This experience developed my analytical mindset, sharpened my attention to detail, and ignited my passion for data-driven problem solving. Today, I specialise in designing impactful dashboards and uncovering actionable insights using tools such as SQL (MySQL, T-SQL), Excel, Power BI, and Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib). I’m particularly drawn to the intersection of data science and sustainability, and I’m motivated by the power of data to drive meaningful environmental decisions. In 2024, I relocated from Iceland to Canada, marking my second intercontinental move. This experience tested my perseverance and resourcefulness while enriching my perspective and adaptability, and strengthened my global perspective. Beyond my professional pursuits, I am a visual artist My creative practice provides inspiration and fuels my ability to think outside the box.
