About Anna Levine

Very few people find their passion early in life. I am fortunate because I have known I wanted to be a biochemist since I was 12 and vividly remember visiting my aunt’s biochemistry laboratory as a child. I highly value education and believe in continuous learning. I am constantly researching subjects to not only learn more but to apply that knowledge in many different settings and environments. I have faced tough challenges and acquired a unique skill set that I use to solve problems and achieve results from academia to fast-paced production lines. Some highlights include:* Educated in two countries including two years of rigorous PhD coursework in Russia as a biochemist.* Published in three papers and presented at two notable scientific conferences in Moscow, Russia.* Developed and improved purification methods that increased overall yield and purity.* Successfully learned a new language, culture, and country – all while starting a new job in US. I am a very dedicated scientist with an exceptional work ethic and I will always research an issue and learn new methods and equipment in order to solve the problem……whatever it takes and however long it takes. I am also very independent and am at my best when given complex issues on tight timelines. My arduous educational training has served me well in terms of problem-solving and my diverse cultural background has taught me perseverance….both of which, I believe, are needed to achieve professional and personal success.
