Transformational Healthcare Leader with demonstrated success creating new models of care and launching clinical programs. Dr. Loengard has deep experience across the healthcare ecosystem including hospital systems, post-acute care, primary care, specialty care, home care, value-based environment, and health plans. She develops and leads efforts refocusing internal clinical, executive, and business teams. Her expertise includes Clinical Modeling & Innovation, Process Optimization, Physician Engagement, Clinical Employee Engagement and Learning & Development. She develops enterprise strategies and launches programs.At AccentCare, she drove initiatives across an organization with over 200 locations across 31 states. Under her leadership, the AccentCare Clinical Models were upgraded to maintain the organization’s industry-leading position. Within the innovation area, Dr. Loengard launched company firsts including the Innovation Incubator to develop new home-based Health Care models, AI technology to risk stratify patient populations and a Clinical center of Excellence to focus on retaining clinical staff.Dr. Loengard’s work was equally impactful earlier at Caravan Health, where she served as the Chief Medical Officer. She led efforts to re-design and improve provider clinical analytics reports and raise awareness of product value to physician leaders and physicians. She was a key member of the executive team to successfully obtain Caravan Health’s first round of equity investment. Her greatest contribution was leading efforts to decrease cost of care across customer populations with consistent savings of 1-2% above the national trend.As Chief Medical Officer at The Queen’s Health Systems ACO, the largest physician network in Hawaii, Dr. Loengard was instrumental in negotiating a pay-for-value contract that moved existing contract from 50% to 90% performance-based reimbursement. She achieved overall cost reductions of 2% across beneficiaries in 2 years.Dr. Loengard holds a Doctor of Medicine from Stony Brook School of Medicine, State University of New York (SUNY), where she earned Honors in all clinical rotations and received the “Newark Beth Israel Healthcare Foundation Humanism in Medicine” award. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at the University of Arizona School of Medicine, where she was awarded an EPEC: Educating Physicians in End-Of-Life Care scholarship. She completed the Intermountain Healthcare Advanced Training Program in Clinical Quality Improvement.
