I am a Japanese / English bilingual US college admissions strategist with Crimson Education dedicated to helping Japanese students achieve their US college dreams! As an educator with over 15 years of experience, I have worked extensively in higher educational institutions such as the National Institute of Japanese Literature, Musashino University, Gakushuin Women’s College, and Princeton University. When I am not working, you can find me in the kitchen, baking up a storm. Straight after earning my Ph.D, I headed to Paris to indulge my lifelong passion for pastries, studying at Ecole Ritz Escoffier and with acclaimed patissier Pierre Herme. I went on to open Little Oven, a French pastry and macaron shop featured in Martha Stewart Living and in the New York Times, in New York in 2009. I am a firm believer in following your passions, wherever they may lead, and love finding creative college solutions that allow my students to pursue all of their passions on a path that is uniquely theirs.
