About Anna McCormack

A snippet from the vastness there is to share. I come from a strong background in customer service working for many years in the hospitality & retail service industries before owning and running my own health food store (having an Adv Diploma in Nutritional Medicine) to than starting a career in marketing. In 2015 I started working for Affordable Wholefoods - a wholefood store based in Lismore NSW with an e-commerce component. I oversaw the development of the e-commerce component of the business as well as managing the social media and email marketing. This was a hugely fulfilling role however all good things we must evolve from. During my time at Affordable Wholefoods I started my own social media agency - Beacon Social Media (now known as Beacon Marketing & Media). Beacon launched in 2017 and continues to grow from strength to strength as a business supporting small and large corporations to expand their online presence. We do this through social media and marketing education, consultancy and management. In November 2020 I accepted a full time position with a long term client of Beacon, Parents At Work, which I started in January this year. I now work full time as their Marketing and Communications Manager whilst running my business behind the scenes.in the wee hours one could say. I very much enjoy all areas of my work, but my particular favourite task is writing communications, be it for email, social or internal.
