About Anna Miech

As a working college student, I am set to graduate in May 2025 from the University of Utah with a BSN in Emergency Medical Services with an emphasis in Emergency Management. I have always had a deep curious drive since growing up on a ranch in Northern Wyoming. Since then I've pursued working in healthcare with an internship in Sheridan Memorial Hospital's Emergency Room (Sheridan, WY), in addition to working as a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 9 years in various settings, including a Trauma 1 Acute Care Hospital, Pediatrics Acute Care Hospital, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing in Utah and Wyoming. Ever curious and looking to grow, I expanded my knowledge, training, and experience by working as a telemetry tech and unit clerk in a neonatal ICU in Missoula, MT. Recently, my interests have turned towards Emergency Medicine, and I have worked as an Emergency Medical Technician and Advanced EMT in various capacities. Throughout High School, I was immensely involved in FFA, where I held multiple leadership roles and refined my speaking, organizational, social, leadership, written, and oral communication skills. In college, I helped start and run an EMS club as an officer at the University of Utah. I've also been an athlete all of my life, as well as a very enthusiastic lover of the outdoors.
