About Anna Mills

I started my career at the age of 10 without knowing it. I played on the boys basketball team, spent my Sundays learning about football from my father and was never nervous or intimidated to be the only girl on the sidelines. I played and worked in a “boys” field from the age of ten and have continued to do so, excelling. You might say it started when I was a kid, however I will never forget the first time I stepped onto the red turf at Eastern Washington University. I may have been the only female with a camera on the field, but that didn’t change my mindset. From there I photographed the 2015 EWUs men’s basketball run to the NCAA tournament, Gonzaga’s 2017 loss to BYU on home court, EWUs 2016 win over the Washington State Cougars and most recently Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets. Throughout the years I’ve continued to strengthen my skill set and find new opportunities. Most recently, I work for Kroenke Sports as the social media manager for Altitude Tv. Less than a year into the position I saw a 2022 Stanley Cup Championship. My goal stays the same as it was when I first stepped foot onto the red turf at EWU, to break down barriers and become a successful female in sports.
