About Anna Mortara

Anna's expertise in policy analysis crosses diverse contexts. It includes local, national, regional and global policy analysis in multilateral, public, private, an academic institutions, fousing on Climate and nature. At Systemiq, Anna manages one of the teams that supports the Volunary Task Force for the Brazil’s Ecological Transformation Plan. The effort, grounded in literature and evidence, also mobilized 200+ organizations to deliver timely solutions to the national government. Earlier at the World Bank Group in Washington, DC, Anna assessed global Private sector participation in Climate Action. The evidence-based insights resonated with the Board of Directors, impacting a portfolio exceeding $140 billion. Before that, she contributed with the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB), taking initiative to deliver the first-ever evaluative video for the Board, on innovative support to indigenous communities. At J-PAL she led implementation of impact evaluations in the Amazon. Earlier, she was a manager for innovative Human Rights policies in São Paulo.
