Background
About Anna Orekhova
I am an experienced, professionally qualified veterinarian (Russian University degree) with a PhD in Veterinary Science. For the past years, I have been involved in teaching undergraduate students in world-class academic institution The University of Edinburgh, with an emphasis on diagnostic imaging. I have received excellent feedback from students and was recognised as one of the top tutors for final-year students during the 2023-2024 academic year. In total, I bring over 10 years of clinical experience in small animal practice, with the last 8 years dedicated to working as part of the diagnostic imaging team at the largest and busiest referral hospital in Russia. Teaching, alongside clinical work, has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me. I am a dedicated professional with a strong interest in continuing my growth within the veterinary field. My long-term goal is to sit for and pass the RCVS Statutory Examination to become an MRCVS and contribute more to animal welfare.
