About Anna Pan

I am passionate about driving business impact through data and analytics. My journey began as an actuary at The Hartford in 2015. After completing the FCAS actuarial credential, I pivoted into data science where I began developing modeling and data visualization skills on the job. This experience prompted me to pursue a full-time MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business where coursework ranging from Data Mining and Back-End Web Architecture to Building Trust-Based Relationships and Negotiations helped enhance both my technical and qualitative skills. Today, I am part of a dynamic, cross-functional team of data scientists, data engineers, and data visualization engineers at Salesforce where I support the Marketing Cloud business. The role has given me the opportunity to apply a product mindset through unlocking insights for GMs and PMs with product health and adoption dashboards & analyses and working alongside Product Engineering to create product instrumentation that is critical for capturing user interactions in the product. Outside of work, you can find me freelancing as a musician, dog-sitting, and volunteering as a math tutor!
