About Anna Ponton

With over 30 years’ experience, Anna advises senior professionals at key stages of their careers. She draws on a breadth of knowledge and deep understanding of the environment in which they work and of the career challenges they face. Career transition points are where she is able to offer the greatest insights. She helps individuals to work through significant career moments, whether they are part of their development to a more senior role or towards the end of their career, when new and different opportunities need to be thought through. She has particular experience of helping people step out of their main career and embrace new horizons. Having set up and run the Legal & Professional Services Practice at Odgers Berndtson and spending three years co-leading the bespoke Non-Executive Directors training programme, Anna is able to offer advice at all career transition points and help people work through issues to resolution. An LLB graduate from the London School of Economics and a barrister, Anna has been involved in Executive Search in the professional services sector since 1987. Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson, she worked for the consulting arms of KPMG, and AT Kearney.
