About Anna Ramberg

A curious, strategic and self-motivated project manager, with excellent negotiation and influencing skills. I thrive on challenges and on developing new skills and knowledge. I particularly enjoy work that engages, empowers and makes an impact. My background is within the education sector, but my skill-set is transferable to other sectors such as charities and NFP, journalism and government. In my current role, I lead and develop, influence and implement a variety of policies and procedures to facilitate change and in response to internal and external requirements and changes to regulations and legislation. I regularly high-level write reports and papers to the highest levels of the institution’s governance structure. I also lead on projects to improve processes and workflows both within my own department as well as across the institution. I have been a lay member of a Health Research Authority Research Ethics Committee since 2010, which has provided me with invaluable experience in reviewing, analysing and summarising complex documents outside my area of expertise. I am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and regularly provide training, workshops and lectures to staff and students. Outside of work I write fiction (currently working on my second novel – first novel still seeking representation). As part of my writing I have acted as a mentor for a budding writer for 6 months and I also attend writing workshops regularly. The workshops involve giving feedback/critique to other members of the group in a constructive and tactful manner while at the same time not shying away from raising issues and problems with the work.
