About Anna Robak

I'm responsible for increasing the impact of WSP Canada's research and innovation. Through UNB, I'm leading a transformational infrastructure strategy to create wealth and improve quality of life. And I'm working to engage more people of diverse backgrounds in STEM through mentoring and school engagements. I am an Adjunct Professor at the University of New Brunswick, a mentor for the Indigenous Black Engineering Technology (IBET) program, VP Program of the Canadian Transportation Research Forum, Member of University of Toronto's Civil & Mineral Engineering Industry Advisory Board, and member of the Building Transformation Smart Cities Think Tank. I earned a PhD in Business (Applied Economics) from the University of South Australia; a Master of Science in Infrastructure Engineering from the Asian Institute of Technology; and a Bachelor of Science (Civil Engineering) from the University of New Brunswick. I am often asked to speak about new infrastructure investment approaches to will improve health and wellbeing, given trends in climate, technology and society; and about women in STEM. I enjoy running off-road, cross-country skiing and mountain biking; finding menus to suit any diet; and listening to my kids play and laugh together.
