About Anna Ruggiero

Anna is a youth advocate who believes that archery is a great vehicle to promote physical, social, and mental well-being. “The great thing about archery is that unlike many other sports, it doesn’t matter how fast you can run or how high you can jump. Archery adapts to your goals, whether you're looking for a chance to spend time in nature, or to hang out with your friends doing a shared activity together, or a way to challenge yourself and score a new personal best." Anna is a USA Archery Level 3 Certified Coach who has coached a high school archery team for the past 11 years. In addition to coaching Anna is an avid competitor having won all seven NFAA state titles as well as South Carolina Archery Association's 3-D circuit champion and Shooter of the Year in the Women’s Bowhunter division in 2022. She has also won gold and silver in USA Archery statewide competitions in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Though primarily a compound target archer, Anna also enjoys traditional shooting and has recently taken up Recurve shooting as well. Charleston Archery provides private and group lessons and archery coaching. The Charleston Courage Archery Team and Charleston Archery Club will expand our reach as affiliates of the National Field Archery Association, S3DA, and USA Archery.
