About Anna Ryckman

I fully believe in being a lifelong learner. I started out my education career on the path to become an elementary school teacher at Washington State University. I then realized I had other interests and changed up my career path to major in Human Development, with a focus on early childhood education and development, along with public policy. I continued my education by earning a Fundraising Management certificate at the University of Washington. After growing up in the auction world by starting as a bid spotter and then working the back of house at auctions, I gained four years of experience working at a nonprofit in West Seattle, where I grew up. I developed many skills and experience in both program operations and in fundraising. My ability to identify opportunities for growth and deepen relationships, has allowed me to thrive in roles where I get to connect with people authentically and continue to learn new skills. I enjoy tracking data to piece together the bigger picture. I have successfully planned community events including a community supporter event of 84 people, created innovative donation programs, managed 100+ donation drives, collaborated with all staff through multiple campaigns and enhanced mechanisms for measuring community outreach success. I am looking to start my next chapter that allows me to grow my skills and make an impact in my community.
