About Anna Sagui

I'm currently pursuing a dual Computer Science and Philosophy degree with an Electrical Engineering Minor at the University of Michigan after transferring from UT Austin where I pursued a Computer Science degree for a year. I've had experience as an intern at the UT Health Science Center. During my internship I worked in research of 5XFAD mice and the did analysis of wild type and treatment movements. Also had the opportunity to learn SIMI motion software. I also have hardware experience through FSAE and various software experience through different opportunities and internships. My classmates, instructors, and co-workers have described me as a self-motivated leader, passionate about helping others and learning. I've had experience in leadership positions and public speaking through my involvement in NHS, serving as Treasurer and President my last two years, and through Longhorn Racing as Outreach Officer. I'll be graduating in May 2026, and I hope to attend a PhD program in biomedical engineering or computational neuroscience. Before then, I plan to continue research in the field of computer science, specifically research in neuroprosthetics, and to continue to explore different opportunities.
