About Anna Salvagio

An early start in the tourism industry sparked a genuine and profound interest in me for this sector and the awareness of its importance as a tool for a responsible development. In the last for 4 years, I gained proposal writing and fundraising skills, which naturally added (and I developed) to the my operational tasks in the Museo Diffuso dei 5 Sensi di Sciacca. It is a the community tourism projects that is trying to have a positive impact and to minimize the negative ones, it is managed by a community cooperative of which I am co-founder and board of directors member. My experience led me to acquire interpersonal and organizational skills, particularly in research and management funds to achieve statutory objectives. Over the last few years, I have also acquired a profound knowledge of the socio-economic, entrepreneurial, and tourism fabric of western Sicily.
