About Anna Schofield

Strong community and social services professional with a Master of Social Work (LMSW) focused in Disabilities from College of Staten Island, and Certified clinical trauma specialist. Passionately providing supportive Services to individuals and families throughout Staten Island as well as virtually to individuals throughout New York State. As an LMSW with years of experience providing supportive therapy, I have developed a deep understanding of the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship with clients and providing compassionate care to those in need. My expertise in early intervention home-based agencies has allowed me to specialize in providing supportive therapy to children and families who are facing developmental challenges, including those on the autism spectrum. In addition to my work in early intervention, I have experience providing supportive therapy to individuals of all ages, from infants to senior citizens, couples and families, in drug programs and mental health counseling settings. This has enabled me to develop a range of skills in assessment, treatment planning, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, allowing me to provide tailored care that meets the unique needs of each individual. My passion for helping people navigate life's challenges and my commitment to providing empathetic and non-judgmental support to my clients have been the driving forces behind my success as an LMSW.
