About Anna Schubert

I am a hard working, creative, and passionate human being. I love to learn, and share my education with others. I love advocacy work and lifting up minority voices. I've been most passionate about serving those who experience mental illness, which is what motivated me to earn my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology at Western Washington University. Since my graduation in December of 2019, I have worked in mental healthcare in various roles working with different populations. My experiences have helped me realize how our cultural identity and community belonging can be a source of hope, strength, and inspiration for recovery. I want to learn more about intersectionality in mental health by hearing the stories of those who have faced discrimination due to symptoms and/or identity, and sharing that knowledge to reduce stigma and better my community.
