Background

About Anna Seidner Osman

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Connecticut and graduate of Columbia University School of Social Work (‘15). I currently serve as the Assistant Director at Yale University's SHARE Center, where I provide services to members of the Yale community who have been impacted by sexual misconduct (sexual assault, sexual harassment, intimate partner violence, stalking, and other related experiences). In terms of my clinical work, I use a collaborative and survivor-centered approach to foster a non-judgmental, supportive environment where folks can safely process experiences of sexual trauma at their own pace. I am particularly passionate about incorporating creative arts-based modalities, including those grounded in visual arts and writing, into my practice. I have training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), two evidence-based treatments for PTSD and trauma.I also provide professional development trainings to other mental health professionals around topics related to my area of clinical practice.
