About Anna Siitonen

I’m a dedicated and curious educator who finds energy in learning, evolving, and sharing knowledge with others. Currently, I work as a teacher in bilingual (Finnish–English) education, where I teach and develop learning environments that support diverse learners and language-aware pedagogy. My background combines classroom teaching, teaching English as a subject, communications expertise, and data-driven thinking. In my communications role, I was especially responsible for project communications and sustainability communications – fields that are very close to my heart. I hold a Master’s degree in Education with additional qualifications in English language teaching, and a recent degree in Data Analytics (BBA), which has broadened my understanding of how technology and data can support education and communication in practice. I’ve also worked as a digital and Peda.net tutor, helping colleagues to adopt learning technologies and new teaching methods. Throughout my career, I’ve always found inspiration in collaboration, creativity, and the small everyday moments where learning truly happens. I believe that meaningful work – whether in education, communication, or any team setting – is rooted in empathy, adaptability, and the ability to build connections between people, ideas, and technologies. Whether I’m designing lessons, facilitating learning, supporting colleagues, or co-creating solutions in a broader professional context, I aim to contribute to environments that are inclusive, engaging, and forward-thinking.
