About Anna Sofia Nordgren

My personality is shaped by my professional sports background and international experience - including extended international work periods across several continents. I also have 20 years experience from B2B and B2C sales roles, sales coaching, sales development as well as Account Manager at +500 employee companies. I am a competitive person who won the Swedish national horse racing championship at 19 years of age and I am the first ever female jockey to win a national championship - anywhere in the world. A career in equestrian sports followed in Sweden and internationally including the USA, the UK, the UAE and Japan. Roles included managing large stables, training race horses and managing corporate equestrian events. Almost always, roles were client-facing and often included supporting VIP clients and their event sponsorships - as well as supporting Press Office functions. Since my youth, I have been instinctively solution-oriented, proactive, and target-driven and that continues today. I work well under pressure. Working closely with VIP client and their expectations for sponsored equestrian events has given me understanding and insights that few possess; and how executive expectations proactively can be managed, resulting in positive business outcomes and returning clients. I have a proven track record of consistently building commercial relationships - and can provide references and high performance metrics to prove it.
