Her approach is grounded in evidence-based treatment modalities, with a particular emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She earned her B.A. in English/Secondary Education from the College of New Jersey and subsequently pursued her M.A. in School Counseling at Montclair State University. Her academic journey at Montclair State also marked the beginning of her doctoral studies in Counselor Education, showcasing her aspiration for continuous learning and professional growth. It was during this time that Anna discovered her passion for working with teens and young adults facing mental health challenges and family-related difficulties, particularly through her hands-on experience in a group home setting. With over seventeen years of experience in a school counseling setting, Anna has honed her skills in crisis intervention and management. Today, she specializes in working with teens and young adults dealing with school refusal, depression and mood-related disorders, LGBTQIA+ and Gender Identity, Perfectionism, Anxiety Disorders, Stress Management and grief and chronic illness.
