As the Head of Contract Management, I lead a dedicated team of contract managers who support our business unit’s global sales initiatives by providing comprehensive contractual solutions. Our mission is to ensure that every agreement we draft and negotiate aligns with our business objectives, minimizes risk, and maximizes value retention. We consistently deliver pragmatic contractual support that aligns with our strategic goals. My role involves overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from initial drafting to final execution. With a robust background in various fields of contract law, I excel in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements. This hands-on approach allows me to develop a deep understanding of our products and services, ensuring that our contracts not only comply with legal standards but also reflect a profound understanding of our business needs. In my previous role as Legal Counsel specializing in intellectual property rights my core focus lay in providing strategic legal advice, with a particular emphasis on software licensing and copyright, especially in the realm of free and open-source software. My prior experience has also equipped me with a robust understanding of global employee invention laws, formal documents for patent prosecution, and the intricacies of patent assignment agreements. Beyond my legal expertise, my journey has been shaped by a commitment to extracurricular pursuits. From directing an interactive theater performance during my studies to assuming a leadership role in Brussels, where I led an association comprising law students across 43 different countries, I have cultivated a unique set of skills. My experience exposed me to the nuances of leadership, financial management, and administration on an international scale. This firsthand involvement has proven invaluable, enhancing my ability to navigate the ever-evolving business environment in the field of cutting-edge technology industry.
