Assist with the development of strategic sourcing strategy for all categories and manage execution of all strategic sourcing, demand and supplier management activities • Review and analyse software agreements • Lead Request for Proposals/ Information etc process • Negotiate purchase agreements between Sun Life and Vendor • Work together with internal clients in the drafting and preparation of Request for Proposals and negotiate sales agreement between Sun Life and Vendor • Prepare contract summaries • Participate in projects in conjunction with suppliers and business units to reduce costs through the supply chain • Apply risk management strategies in executing sourcing strategies and plans • Meet defined savings and cost reduction targets within the category • Assess and resolve procurement issues including contractual terms and conditions and escalation by internal stakeholders and suppliers • Review and analyse software agreement renewals • Identify and develop opportunities for process improvement in the area of purchasing/ procurement transactions, supplier management, strategic sourcing, compliance tracking • Other duties as assigned Specialties: Procurement, Negotiations,
