20 years experience in International Affairs, global trade and EU Affairs- 12 years as Director General and Head of two government agencies with international focus in Sweden- Leaderships skills and leadership training at top level within the public and private sectors- 10 years experience in Think tanks in France- 7 years on the Lund University Board, 3 years as Vice Chairman of the University- Board Member of Business Sweden- Board Member of Swedfund- Board Member of the Swedish Institute of International Affairs (Ui). Today Deputy Director General, International and EU Affairs, at the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, an organisation representing companies. Member of the Management team. Former Director General and Head of the National Board of Trade (Kommerskollegium), appointed by the Swedish government in 2014 for a period of six years. I was responsible for all matters of the organization (budget, results, developing a modern HR-organization, builing new communication platform, developing solid relations with stakeholders nationally and internationally etc), including leading a team of 100 people, experts in international trade, trade policy and EU affairs. Prior to my position at the National Board of Trade, I was Director of the Swedish Institute for European Policy Studies (2009-2014). After having completed a Masters degree in political science and a Bachelors degree in French at Lund University, as well as an International Masters degree in international relations at Sciences Po in Paris, I was during ten years a researcher and a Director of research at several independent research institutes in France, specialized in economic and social affairs. I was during several years Vice Chair of the Board of Lund University, a university which has been consistently placed in the world's top 100 universities in recent years. I was also Member of the Internal Audit of Lund University. Today, I am a Board Member of Business Sweden, the major trade promotion agency in Sweden. I am also a Board Member of Swedfund, Sweden's development finance institution, and of the Swedish Institute of International Affairs (Ui). I am fluent in Swedish, English and French. I was appointed Knight (Chevalier, Ordre National du Mérite) by the French President in 2014. In 2022 I received His Majesty the King’s Medal for “outstanding contributions to society”. I was elected into the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA), the world's oldest academy of engineering sciences, in 2023.
