About Anna Strawn

2020* I am working full-time with a business that was founded by my grandfather, W. Norman Strawn Sr, in 1972. Strawn & Co, Insurance is among south Atlanta’s oldest and largest independent insurance agencies. Our agency was founded with the purpose of providing property, casualty, life, and health insurance needs for local families and businesses. From a small staff of two, Strawn & Co, Insurance has grown to a highly automated center that helps us stay abreast of the continual changes in our industry. We evaluate the needs of our customers and secure those needs with traditional insurance or other alternative means of risk transfer; in addition to offering superior customer service. Our areas of expertise include:*2019* I am in my final year of pursuing my undergraduate degree and I also work part-time in marketing for Strawn & Co, Insurance. I love living in a college town because I find that it’s interesting, energizing and thought provoking. I thrive on challenges, new ideas, hard work and relationships and have been able to put my skillset to work in my studies, volunteer opportunities, jobs, and friendships. I have developed a real interest in problem-solving and I am quick to learn anything that is computer related. A few years ago I started making videos diaries of our family vacations and would spend hours perfecting them. Discipline and a positive attitude have been instrumental in my success in my studies and in my day to day routine. Accomplishing difficult tasks and tackling a busy schedule are very satisfying to me but I also enjoy taking time out of my schedule to connect with friends and offer encouragement to them. My passion for travel, staying active and serving others is something that I work hard to fit into my schedule. I have really enjoyed combining travel with serving others when I have taken mission trips to Mexico and Guatemala. I have found that lifting up and encouraging others to be their best selves has helped me to become the best version of myself.
