About Anna Sullivan

Founded in 1906, Neighborhood House is one of the oldest social service agencies in the Puget Sound region. In response to a growing low-income community in 1941, we began providing self-sufficiency and support services for families moving to Yesler Terrace. In 1959, we became an independent nonprofit.Today, we continue to provide these services to address the needs of entire families, with a focus on low-income community members, public housing residents, immigrants and refugees. We serve over people annually through our major program areas of early learning, youth education, family and social services, employment and adult education, health, and housing stability. As the Director of Mission Support, People and Culture for Neighborhood House, I strategically support the operational side of the agency including IT, Finance, Operations, People and Culture, Development, and IDEA. My role works to create a positive work culture that encourages growth for staff. As we continue on our journey to become an anti-racist organization, equity is at the core of what we do.
