About Anna Swansun

Anna is, as her décor, a Bohemian romantic, artistic eclectic, intuitive, lover of color, adorned with tribal fiber, botanical print, and organic cotton velvet, with an untamable affinity for antiques, ocean scenes, and an abundance of houseplants. She is a (multi-)lifelong learner and explorer, with a pair of diplomas and a pair of degrees, studying and teaching both formally and intuitively: A student of embodiment, she has studied music composition, theatre and poetic oratory, learned piano, clarinet, and pedagogy. Like Shakespeare, she sees the world through metaphor. Like Ruth Crawford Seeger, she loves both formal and folk. A student of the stars and scenes, she studies astrology under Nadiya Shah, interior design under Rebecca Robeson, has practiced Real Estate under Dawn Dunavant and has explored both traditional and Marie Diamond Feng Shui. “As above, so below,” reads The Kybalion on her shelf. Bring the outside in say the rattan, cane, cotton, and collections of feathers, shells, and crystals. Reader and writer, she enjoys poetry, philosophy, spirituality, Norse mythology, mysticism, non-fiction, fairy tales, and fantasy. She published a book about trends of 21st century music under her maiden name and before her Saturn return. With a long history of journaling, composing essays, themes, and thesis, currently editing her manuscripts of poetry and working on a non-fiction narrative, she is a woman of many (written) words. Like Bragi she adores alliteration. As with Thoreau, nature rouses. Anna has the gift of clairaudience and works with the energies of her ancestors, guides, angels, spirit animals, plants, and the gods. She attends “earth school” with daily mini vision quests in her small town’s wetland park, is mentored by Hecate/The Great Mother under the direction of energetic healer, psychic, and herbalist Cyndi Brannen, is studying the runes under northern shaman Jeremy RJ White, is studying clairvoyance and psychic development under Astrid with the Moonstar Academy, and is in the spiritual path with the help of intuitive healer and personal development mentor Bridget Nielsen. Anna states, “I am on a never-ending mission to know myself fully and connect more deeply to All That Is.”
