About Anna Sycheva

I am a talent & organizational effectiveness expert with experience in designing professional learning programs, developing leaders and unearthing best L & OD practices. Award-winning organizational behavior researcher and leadership educator. A track record of progressively challenging roles and passion for data-driven approaches to organizational performance. I am a firm believer that effective talent development is a series of organic, immersive and contextualized experiences rooted in sound behavioral science. Episodic training interventions are not good enough. Empathizing with employees who must contend with avalanches of available training, I acknowledge that they are often time-poor, skeptical of training impact, or struggling to sustain a behavior change post-training. As a recognized thought leader on experiential learning in organizations, I know how to bust through these sources of resistance and systematically engage various organizational levers to make desired behaviors stick. My career in Talent and Organizational Development began in the instructional design space, where I mastered sound adult learning methodologies and effective training design. This expertise helped me progress into strategic advisory roles and consult organizational stakeholders on learning and performance solutions. Fostering alignment between talent initiatives and strategic priorities has been my strong suit. Over the years, I noted many challenges associated with effecting a long-term change in employee behavior and sought to contribute scientifically informed solutions to the practice of Talent & OD. Taking on a research role, I delved deeply into workplace psychology and organizational behavior, discovering evidence-based practices that now guide my work as a talent and organizational effectiveness strategist. I engage analytics and recent behavioral research for the benefit of impactful and sustainable L & OD. In my profession, above all, I value talent–strategy alignment, innovative yet practical performance solutions, and well-informed L & OD approaches backed by sound behavioral insights and data.
