About Anna Toneguzzi

Anna Toneguzzi is an aspiring architect and interdisciplinary designer who intends to discover how human lives are inherently rooted to the spaces they inhabit. Her work primarily focuses on spatial design across multiple disciplines including scenic painting and design, needle felting, installation work, photography and architecture. Anna is a recent graduate of the Master of Architecture program at The University of Calgary. She also holds a BFA with a Specialization in Scenic Design and a Minor in Film Studies from Concordia University in Montreal. Prior to her studies in architecture, she applied her passion for art and design as a set designer and props master for performing arts programs in Montreal, Calgary, and Prague. Her experience has instilled a collective approach to design; skills she applies in her current role at Hindle Architects on the Arts Commons Transformation team. Select Credits include: Performance Curation for Festival Nouveau Cinema, Exhibition work in The Prague Quadrennial for Performance and Space Design, Photography in VAV Gallery and Pumphouse Theatre and various credits as Scenic Artist, Props Master and Set Designer for Storybook Theatre and Front Row Centre Players.
