Hello! I’m Anna Turpen, a performer turned arts administrator who loves helping creative spaces run smoothly. With a background in dance, theatre, and arts education, I bring both creative energy and strong organizational skills to the work I do behind the scenes.My experience spans arts administration, education, and operations support. I enjoy being the person who helps keep everything moving. From coordinating logistics and supporting programs to welcoming students, artists, and audiences, I love making sure the details are handled so the creative work can shine.Before moving into administration, I spent many years performing and training in dance and theatre, which gives me a deep appreciation for the people and passion behind the arts. That perspective shapes how I approach my work today. I care deeply about creating environments where artists feel supported and where programs run thoughtfully and efficiently.Outside of work, you can usually find me with a coffee in one hand and a good book in the other. I enjoy writing, trying new coffee shops and bookstores, spending time with friends, and staying connected to the artistic community around me.At the end of the day, I believe the best creative spaces are the ones where people feel welcomed, supported, and inspired.
