About Anna Urena

My most prized possession is my personal library of 706 books, collected from various half-price bookstores and garage sales throughout my life. Though books are one of my passions, I have realized that reading exciting stories is merely a supplement to living them. My love for stories and adventure has driven me to find the majority of my most meaningful experiences, including interning at an art museum in Italy and an archive in Brazil. I believe that art tells a story in a single image. Helping people understand that story and create the big picture through exhibits is what drew me to art history and the museum field. I currently intern at the Brigham Young University Museum of Art in the curatorial department, a wonderful job that allows me to fully explore my interests in stories. My goal is to always pursue volunteer and career opportunities that allow me to help people enjoy life through art and stories. Competencies: Microsoft Office, Portuguese proficiency
