About Anna van Schaik

Experienced Retail Consultant with nearly three years at Aesop, combining strong product knowledge with a sincere passion for creating exceptional, personal customer experiences. I specialise in curating meaningful interactions around skincare, fragrance, and body care, always with empathy, attention to detail, and a love for storytelling. Beyond sales, I take initiative in operational tasks like stock management, replenishment, and visual merchandising, and work closely with my manager to help delegate and support the team. I naturally lean into mentorship, whether it’s guiding new team members, sharing product expertise, or helping to create a warm, collaborative environment. Outside of retail, I’m a creative at heart. I’m a film and digital photographer with a love for capturing people, connection, and nostalgia in cinematic, story-driven ways. My work in both worlds is deeply people-centered, with a focus on emotion, aesthetic, and experience. Key Skills: • Customer Experience & Clienteling • Peer Coaching & Team Mentorship • Product Knowledge (Skincare, Fragrance, Home) • Inventory & Stock Management • Communication & Emotional Intelligence • Creative Direction & Visual Storytelling • Film & Digital Photography
