About Anna Virtanen

I am a Data Scientist and IT Consultant with a passion for using data to drive positive change. With a strong background in mathematics, programming and machine learning, I bring expertise in data analysis, ETL development and healthcare data to the table. My recent projects have focused on the OMOP Common Data Model, where I have developed ETL processes to transfer medical data and ensured that it is properly transformed and loaded into the OMOP CDM. In addition, I have developed machine learning-based prediction and time series forecasting models to predict the service needs of the elderly. I am a technical person who is proficient in programming languages such as Python, SQL and R. In addition to my technical skills, I have a keen interest in business and data-driven management. My experience in heathcare data analysis has enabled me to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
