About Anna Wamsler

Hi, I’m Anna. I’m a passionate Social Media Expert at Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR), specializing in Facebook, Community Management, and Digital Distribution. I love so-called lightbulb moments —those instances during my consultations, workshops, and conversations when something suddenly clicks for others—or even for myself. With over seven years of experience, I’m familiar with the ups and downs that come with working in social media. What does the algorithm want from me now? How should I handle the next annoying comment? And why is this job so often frustrating? These and other questions are addressed in the book "Dear Social Media Manager" by Xandrina Allday, myself, and other social media experts. Do you have questions, a great social media success story to share, or are you just plain frustrated with the internet? Feel free to reach out to me!
