About Anna Webb

Welcome to my profile. With a strong foundation in academic research and a passion for scientific problem-solving, I bring a unique perspective to my current role as an Analyst at Nordic Market Access (NMA). At NMA, I support projects aimed at improving patient access to new treatments by contributing to market access strategies for pharmaceutical and MedTech companies in the Nordic region. My role allows me to apply my scientific background while continuously learning about health economics, policy, and the broader access landscape. Prior to joining NMA, I completed my PhD and bridging postdoctoral research at Karolinska Institutet, where I specialized in intestinal biology and cancer. My doctoral work focused on developing a novel method to investigate if different intestinal epithelial cells are influenced by their surrounding environment. More specifically if there are cues in the extracellular matrix guiding intestinal cell types to their in vivo locations and how aging and cancer can affect their behavior. This experience sharpened my analytical mindset, critical thinking, and communication skills, which I now apply in my current role. I thrive in challenging, multitasking environments with little or no supervision. Colleagues describe me as happy, driven, and adept at fostering productive working relationships.
