About Anna Weber

Although I am still in education, I can look back on 1 1/2 year of intern and volunteering experience. My first volunteering/Intern was on Tenerife at the AWF (Atlantic Whale Foundation) where I had the opportunitiy to enlarge my knowledge in Field research on Mammals (Turciops Truncatus; Globicephala macrorhynchus) and did my personnal project on a ecotouristic website. I passed my second internship at Rijkswaterstaat Buitenpost, with my own project on shipping incidents in the Waddensea area. My third and last internship is at the MLUR (Ministry for agriculture, environment and rural affairs) in Kiel, Germany. Here I can work on my final thesis project. Reading back my list of professional experiences, I am interested especially in Marine law, and its enforcement but can also look back on scientific research experience. My personal goal, after achieving my Bsc degree is to find a place at an Environmental Cosultancy or Civil Engeneering company to deepen and enlarge my work experience. As I am very interested in learning languages and not scared of finding my own way in foreign countries, I can see myself in the international fields of project preparation, supervising and finalising. Currently I am developing a new zoning for a local, growing camping with legal permission of permanent residence and 20 acres of bird protection area. The goal of the new zoning will be the combination of recreation, living, agricultural use, small scale natural protection and generating income. Specialties: Languages: German, French, Dutch, English
