About Anna Whitaker

Back when I was a sophomore in college, uncertain about my major, I enrolled in a business statistics course. It was during this class that my professor, recognizing my potential, suggested I explore Supply Chain Management. That conversation became a pivotal moment in both my academic and professional journey. What began as a small step into the unknown evolved into a career beyond anything that college student could have imagined. Some of my opportunities and growth have included: • Serving as President of the Supply Chain Club at the College of Charleston. • Pursuing an international master’s degree at Lingnan University in Hong Kong. • Being recruited by a former colleague to build and lead a planning team for a new warehouse. • Receiving the "Rising Star" award in the Women in Supply Chain Awards from Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics Magazine. While I’m grateful for the accomplishments and opportunities I’ve had, I’m committed to continuous growth—both personally and professionally—which is why I’m currently pursuing a Certificate in Data Analytics through the University of Denver. This program will expand my skills and give me the tools to bring even greater value to my work. It’s been a pretty cool journey so far, and I can’t wait to see where the next chapter leads.
