About Anna Wingert

Current SIUC student majoring in English and minoring in both Japanese and Marketing. As much as I'd like to pretend this combination of areas of study make me a well-rounded individual, together, they serve my interest in writing—teaching and selling it. This interest in writing and pedagogy is further served by my present position as a writing center consultant. I get excited about opportunities to collaborate with others on creative projects; there is nothing as satisfying as bringing an idea into reality. I'm in my element either creating or workshopping a narrative to be the most polished version of itself. When I'm not in class or studying, you can find me training service dogs or taking children's media way too seriously (I helped make a whole children's literature class!).
