About Anna Zaaki

As the daughter of two teachers I had always been sure to become a teacher myself. However my life turned into another direction. After volunteering in Jamaica for almost one year my new aim was to live and work abroad. So how could this work? Simply by emproving my language skills and and at the same time learn a profession. So to me it was obvious in order to reach my new aim as fast as possible I had to become a bilingual secretary. Instead of going abroad as planned, I met my future husband and stayed and started my first job here in Germany. So my professional career developed as follows: Jan. 2001 - Dec. 2003 Executive Assistant Quinner AG / Sali Management Services Company take-over by Canada Life Europe Juni 2004 - Dec. 2009 Assistant to the CEO and HR Manager Boursorama S.A. Company take-over by Onvista Bank Jan. 2006 - until today Founding of our non-profit Aminu Initiative (formerly known as Nima e.V.) Founder, CEO & Volunteer Managment Further qualifictions: HR Administration (IHK Frankfurt) Volunteer Management (Ehrenamtsagrentur des Landes Hessen) Studies of Non-Profit Management (EH Darmstadt); due to maternity leave and others studies are currently on hold. Others: As a mother of three I had maternity leave three times. During these periods I continued the work for our non-profit Aminu Initiative on a volunteer basis mainly. I was one of the major forces responsible for building up and shaping our organisation.
