About Annabel Armitstead

My name is Annabel Armitstead and I am an Audio Engineer. My first exposure to the audio engineering industry was through my course at the Davis Catalyst Center. I originally came into this class looking to learn how to record and make music so that in addition to clients I could make my own. Safe to say that this industry was much deeper than what I thought it was. My first semester of this course was a lot about opening my mind to lots of things and realizing that I knew a lot less than I thought I did. Learning to push through the uncomfortable situation that was, I worked on a series of concerts called the “Catalyst Acoustic Concert Series” and now know how to run live sound.I am now in my second semester of this course, with a deeper desire for learning more and understanding this industry I’ve taken every opportunity I can get to learn more about this industry. Ive helped run a live concert that was included in the Illumination Project, set up and performed in the continuation of the Catalyst Acoustic Night series, and am now working with the Better You Better Living Hosts of their soon to come podcast!I am so excited to work with your company for whatever Audio Engineering needs you have!
