About Annabel Morton

I'm an ALS certified Foundation Doctor with full GMC registration currently working at Queen Alexandra Hospital on my Public Health rotation, having previously experienced a number of clinical specialities including Cardiology, General Surgery, Orthogeriatrics, Emergency medicine & Respiratory throughout my medical training so far. I am passionate about Dermatology, completing my medical elective at the Princess Alexandra Hospital Dermatology department in Brisbane, recently presenting at the 20th Medical Dermatology Conference at the Royal Society of Medicine and co-running my local DermSoc at Portsmouth. Outside of clinical practise, I have contributed to a number of quality improvement projects, each receiving national recognition by selection for presentation at conferences and currently am awaiting publication of further research. I have a graduate entry BMBS degree in Medicine from the University of Nottingham, where I received The Critical Illness Medical Student of the Year award in my final year of study, and a BSc degree in Biology from the University of Manchester. Following graduation I have continued to learn completing courses in finance, pharmaceuticals and leadership from Yale University and The Wharton Business School to enhance my understanding of the business side of healthcare. Whether I’m on the wards, contributing to research, or presenting at conferences, I’m driven by a deep desire to contribute meaningfully to the future of healthcare.
