About Anne King

One of my passions is to mentor people and to develop them in into being the best they can be. My second passion is governance, having witnessed numerous experiences of how to not do governance I am keen to use that experinece to help other Boards. I am a strategic thinker and always keep the endgame in mind when making decisions or giving advice. In leading teams I believe that creating a positive, supported and engaged workforce is absolutely essential to achieving the objectives of any organisation. I have had an extensive background in finance and accounting, but I am more interested in getting numbers to tell a story. My career began in banking and covered business banking, credit assessment, cash flow lending and private banking. I have had over 15 years' experience with "For Benefit" organisations. I currently hold one board positions but have served on a number of boards over many years and have provided financial advice to a number of Boards. My goal has always been to take the mystery out of finance data so that managers have user friendly financial reports that are useful for making decision. I have been a mentor to executive teams, business unit managers and CEOs. My expertise in financial modelling and dashboarding provides managers at all levels with the tools to make informed business decisions.
