About Anne Lucas

I bring a rich and varied work history to my current work as a Mental Health Therapist, Divorce Coach and mediator. I had over 15 years working in the building industry, business and accounting expereince, skills in planning, implenting and managing change, team building and group dynamics as well as organization skills. My mental health career began as a family therapist at Fairfax Psychiatric hospital where I worked with a wide range of severe mental illness in adults and children. During those years, I built the start of a private practice eventually joining with the Evergreen Clinic where I have spent that last 14 years working with a team of outstanding psychiatrists and therapists. In addition to my therapy work, I have also developed a practice in Divorce Coaching where I work with local attorneys and other specialists trained in Collaborative Law process as well as traditional law and other alternative dispute resolution processes. I hold a Masters Degree from Bastyr University in systems counseling and behavioral science and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State. I additionally hold certifications in Grief Counseling, Job Management Skills, Small Business Management, Management of Information Systems, Employee Development and Management and has trained as a mediator. I am an Approved Supervisor for licensure candidates in Washington, Adjunct Faculty at Leadership Institute of Seattle and guest lecturer at Antioch University. Specialties: I specialize in several areas of mental health - bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders and life transitions. I have a strong practice in couples work - everything from premarital, marriage, divorce, post divorce and remarriage. And I have a strong focus on alternative dispute resolution - mediation, Collaborative Law.
