About Anne Marion

As the Director of After School Programs at North Shore Country Day School (NSCDS), a prestigious independent school near Chicago, I oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of various after school activities for students in grades K-8. With a Bachelor's Degree in English and a passion for education, I excel at creating positive relationships, prioritizing tasks, and supporting staff. I have generated an automated sign-in/sign-out sheet that meets the criteria of the school, recruited and trained staff members for different programs, and procured necessary equipment, materials, and resources. I also communicate effectively with faculty, administration, and parents about the programming and ensure the safety of the students. In addition to my role at NSCDS, I work as a Coordinator of Youth Ministry at Glencoe Union Church, where I use my written communication, organization, and teamwork skills to produce quality content and engage with the youth community. I am motivated by the opportunity to enrich the lives of the students and the staff through after school programs that foster learning, creativity, and fun. I am always looking for new ways to improve and innovate the programs and to collaborate with others. I am proud of the impact I have made at NSCDS.
